A Common Entrance Test designated as Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET - 2023) will be conducted by Satavahana University for the academic year 2023-2024 for seeking Admission into B.P.Ed.(2 Years) and D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Courses. The Application form is for Common Entrance Test for the entry into the Physical Education courses.
TS PECET-2023 is going to be conducted by Satavahana University,Karimnagar.

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. B.P.Ed: the Candidates should have appeared or passed three year degree examination recognized by any University in Telangana State or any other University recognized as equivalent there to and should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2022.
  2. D.P.Ed: the Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Telangana State and should have completed 16 years of age on 01.07.2022.

Scheme of Entrance Test for B.P.Ed. (2 years)and D.P.Ed. (2 years) courses: The Common Entrance Test for entry of students into B.P.Ed (Two years) and D.P.Ed. (Two years). The tests will be conducted as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

For all seats in all Government DIETS and Private Un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions:
  1. The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the TS DEECET Committee for appearing at the TS DEECET 2023. However, she/he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
  2. The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing at the TS DEECET 2023. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45%.

Age:

  1. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission.
  2. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed /D.P.S.E. Programme.

Fee:

  1. The fee towards submission of application online and for appearing at the TSDEECET-2023 online is Rs.500/-. Candidates shall pay the fee through the Payment Gateway provided on http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in 22.04.2023 to 22.05.2023 and
  2. TSDEECET 2023 website at the submit online application http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in from 22.04.2023 to 22.05.2023.

Rule of reservation:

  1. Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be unreserved as specified in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 as amended from time to time.

Procedure For Applying Online:

  1. The candidates shall first download the 'Information Bulletin' free of cost from the website http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET, 2023.
  2. The candidate after satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for DEECET, 2023 shall pay a fee of Rs.500/- through TSONLINE between 22.04.2023 to 22.05.2023 midnight for submission of application Online. At the DEECET website Centers, the candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e. Name of the candidate, Date of birth, Gender and mobile phone number). On receipt of fee at DEECET, 2023 website the candidate shall be issued a 'Payment Reference ID' with which she/he can proceed with submission of application online. Issue of Payment Reference ID does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.
  3. The candidates shall follow the procedure of submission of online application as given in the 'Information Bulletin' and also as per the instructions provided online while filling up the online application form. The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size upto 50kb and candidate signature upto 30kb before filling in on-line application.'

మహాత్మా జ్యోతిబాఫూలే వెనుకబడిన తరగతుల సంక్షేమ గురుకుల విద్యాలయాల సంస్థ, హైదరాబాద్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించబడుతున్న బిసి బాల బాలికల పాఠశాలల్లో 2023-24 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికిగాను 6, 7, 8వ తరగతులలో (ఇంగ్లీషు మీడియం) స్టేట్ సిలబస్ లో ఖాళీ సీట్లకు బిసి, ఎస్.సి, ఎటి మరియు ఇబిసి అభ్యర్థుల నుండి ప్రవేశానికి దరఖాస్తులు కోరడమైనది. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష తేది 10-05-2023 నాడు ఉదయం 10.00 గంటల నుండి మధ్యాహ్నం 12.00 వరకు రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా పాత జిల్లా కేంద్రాలలో పరీక్ష నిర్వహించబడును.

  2. 7వ తరగతి లో ప్రవేశము కోరు విద్యార్థులు సంబంధిత జిల్లాలోని ప్రభుత్వ లేక ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలలో 2022-23 సం.లో 6వ తరగతి చదివి ఉండాలి.
  3. 8 వ తరగతి లో ప్రవేశము కోరు విద్యార్థులు సంబంధిత జిల్లాలోని ప్రభుత్వ లేక ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలలో 2022-23 సం.లో 7వ తరగతి చదివి ఉండాలి.
  4. విద్యార్థులు ప్రభుత్వ లేక ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలలో 2021-22 మరియ 2022-23 విద్యా సంవత్సరములలో నిరవధికంగా విద్యను అభ్యసించి ఉండవలెను.UDISE ఆధారంగా ప్రవేశాలను కల్పించబడును.

వయస్సు:

  1. 6వ తరగతికి: 31/08/2023 నాటికి 12 సంవత్సరాలకు మించకూడదు. ఎస్సి/ఎస్టీలకు 2 సంవత్సరాల మినహాయింపు కలదు.
  2. 7వ తరగతికి: 31/08/2023 నాటికి 13 సంవత్సరాలకు మించకూడదు. ఎస్సి/ఎస్టీలకు 2 సంవత్సరాల మినహాయింపు కలదు.

  1. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష తెలుగు, లెక్కలు, పరిసరాల విజ్ఞానం (సైన్సు మరియు సాంఘిక శాస్త్రం) లలో 5, 6, 7వ తరగతి స్థాయిలో 2 గంటల వ్యవధిలో 100 మార్కులకు ఉంటుంది.

  4. విద్యార్థులు ప్రభుత్వ లేక ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలలో 2021-22 మరియ 2022-23 విద్యా సంవత్సరములలో నిరవధికంగా విద్యను అభ్యసించి ఉండవలెను.UDISE ఆధారంగా ప్రవేశాలను కల్పించబడును.

వయస్సు:

  1. 6వ తరగతికి: 31/08/2023 నాటికి 12 సంవత్సరాలకు మించకూడదు. ఎస్సి/ఎస్టీలకు 2 సంవత్సరాల మినహాయింపు కలదు.

  1. The students (only Boys) who appeared/passed for class X examination from any recognised school for the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to write the entrance test and appear in Physical and Medical Screening.
  2. The annual income of the parent should not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum (for Urban students) and Rs.1,50,000/- (for Rural students) as certified by the MRO.
  3. The students from Telugu / English medium are eligible for this entrance test.
  4. The age of the students of all communities (SC,SC – CC, ST, BC, Min, OC/EBC) shall not exceed 16 years as on 01.04.2023,i.e they should be born between 01.04.2007 & 31.03.2009.
  5. The admission for the selected students would be confirmed only after submitting following certificates in original along with one set of photocopies at the time of admission.

  1. The applicant must submit his / her application only through ONLINE by visiting website www.tswreis.ac.in
  2. Candidates have to pay registration fee of Rs.200/- for submission of application through ONLINE from any Internet centre through NET banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.
  3. Before filling the application through online the candidate has to read the information/ prospectus already uploaded in the website www.tswreis.ac.in
    *ADVICE: They can prepare a hard copy first and then fill online to avoid mistakes].
  4. Candidates should upload their passport size photo and signature in *.jpg or *.jpeg formats within size of 100 kb.
  5. The candidates shall be considered for admission based on their merit in the caste concerned.
  6. The Candidates are advised to download their Hall tickets immediately after uploading the online application to appear in written and Physical & Medical Tests .

SELECTION PROCESS

  1. The selection process broadly consists of following three (3) types of tests.
  2. I. STAGE-1 - State Level Written Examination – 100 Marks
  3. II. STAGE-II - Screening Tests – 150 Marks(Physical, Sainik School Aptitude (Written & Descriptive) & Communication Skill Tests)
  4. III. Medical Fitness Test.

STATE LEVEL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION – 100 MARKS:

TThe Entrance Examination will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (English Medium only) to be answered in 3 hours. These questions will be based on ClassX standard textbooks. To qualify the Sainik school examination, students need to obtain a minimum of 25% marks in each subject and a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.

Candidates qualifying in the written tests will be shortlisted and called for Screening Tests (Physical, Sainik School aptitude & Communication Skills) and Medical Tests in 1:10 ratio in the order of merit as per the merit in the category wise ranking. Incase sufficient number of candidate are not found fit in the first round of screening tests, more candidates may be called in the second round of screening tests in the order of merit. Cut off percentage of 40 may be either raised or lowered based on the performance of the candidates in the written examination.

PHYSICAL TESTS – 25 MARKS:

  1. The following tests will be conducted:-
    (a) Running 4 KM within 20 minutes
    (b) Push Ups 15
    (c) Sit Ups 20
    (d) Chin Ups 3
    (e) Vertical Rope 3 meter

    A candidate is awarded 2 marks for passing in each test and zero marks for failing in a test. A candidate has to score 6 marks to be qualified in physical tests. A candidate scoring less than 6 marks in physical tests is deemed to be ‘UNFIT’.

The standard of health and medical fitness would be based on the standards as laid down for the NDA Examination with minor modification in view of the tender age of the boys.
  2. The decision of the Medical Board will be final.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. The applicant must submit his / her application only through ONLINE by visiting website www.tswreis.ac.in
  2. Candidates have to pay registration fee of Rs.200/- for submission of application through ONLINE from any Internet centre through NET banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.
  3. Before filling the application through online the candidate has to read the information/ prospectus already uploaded in the website www.tswreis.ac.in
    *ADVICE: They can prepare a hard copy first and then fill online to avoid mistakes].
  4. Candidates should upload their passport size photo and signature in *.jpg or *.jpeg formats within size of 100 kb.
  5. The candidates shall be considered for admission based on their merit in the caste concerned.
  6. The Candidates are advised to download their Hall tickets immediately after uploading the online application to appear in written and Physical & Medical Tests .

SELECTION PROCESS

  1. The selection process broadly consists of following three (3) types of tests.
  2. I. STAGE-1 - State Level Entrance Examination – 100 Marks
  3. II. STAGE-II - Screening Tests – 150 Marks (Physical, Sainik School Aptitude (Written & Descriptive) & Communication Skill Tests)
  4. III. Medical Fitness Test.

STATE LEVEL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION – 100 MARKS

The written examination will consist of 100 multiple answer questions (BilingualEnglish & Telugu) to beanswered in 2 hours and 30 minutes.These questions will be based on Class-V standard textbooks. To qualify the Sainik school examination, students need to obtain a minimum of 25% marks in each subject and a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.

Candidates qualifying in the written tests will be called for screening tests (Physical, Sainik School aptitude & Communication Skills) and medical tests in 1:10 ratio in the order of merit as per the merit in the category wise ranking. Incase sufficient number of candidate are not found fit in the first round of screening tests, more candidates may be called in the second round of screening tests in the order of merit. Cut off percentage of 40 may be either raised or lowered based on the performance of the candidates in the written examination.

PHYSICAL TESTS – 25 MARKS

  1. The following tests will be conducted:-
    (a) Running 2 KM within 11 minutes
    (b) Sit ups 15
    (c) Standing Broad Jump 4 Ft
    (d) 5 Meter Shuttle 12 in 1 Minute
    (e) 100 meter Sprint 18 Sec

    A candidate is awarded 2 marks for passing in each test and zero marks for failing in a test. A candidate has to score 6 marks to be qualified in physical tests. A candidate scoring less than 6 marks in physical tests is deemed to be ‘UNFIT’.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS TEST (ORAL) – 25 MARKS:

  1. All candidates appearing for the screening will be for communication skills (oral)

  1. All candidates before admission to the Sainik School will be subjected to a medical examination by a Board consisting of military / civil doctors. The standard of health and medical fitness would be based on the standards as laid down for the NDA Examination with minor modification in view of the tender age of the boys.
  2. The decision of the Medical Board will be final.

The Final Merit

The final merit will be prepared for only those candidates who are found medically fit based on weightage of all the tests as under:-

ELIGIBILITY

  1. The students (only Boys) who appeared/passed for class 5 examination from any recognised school for the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to write the entrance test and appear in Physical and Medical Screening.
  2. The annual income of the parent should not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum (for Urban students) and Rs.1,50,000/- (for Rural students) as certified by the MRO.
  3. The students from Telugu / English medium are eligible for this entrance test.
  4. The age of the students of all communities (SC,SC – CC, ST, BC, Min, OC/EBC) shall not exceed 11 years as on 01.04.2023, i.e they should have been born between 01.04.2012 & 31.03.2014.
