Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to be set up in each District in a phased manner. At present, 649 Vidyalayas are functional in 27 States and 08 Union Territories.

Online applications are invited for admission to class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas through Selection Test for the session 2024-25.

EXAM DATE:

  1. Date of Exam: Saturday, 18th January, 2025 at 11.30 A.M.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Candidates who are bonafide residents of the district and studying in class V in the academic session 2022-23 in Govt./ Govt. recognized school in the same district where JNV is functioning and to which they are seeking admission.
  2. Studied full academic session in each class and passed classes III & IV from Govt. / Govt. recognized school and born between 01.05.2011 to 30.04.2013 (Both the dates inclusive)

Procedure to register online for JNV Selection Test 2023

  1. The process for submission of application for JNV Selection Test has been simplified through online process. Registration can be done free of cost through the admission portal of NVS linked through https://navodaya.gov.in
  2. Candidates/ parents have to go through the notification cum prospectus and ensure the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
  3. The following documents in soft form (.JPG format of size between 10 to 100 kb) may be kept ready for registration:
    ➤Certificate verified by the Head Master mentioning the details of candidate in the prescribed format
    ➤Photograph
    ➤Signature of parent
    ➤Signature of candidate
    ➤Aadhaar details/ Residence certificate issued by competent Government authority.

EXAM PATTERN:

The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

ABOUT THE SELECTION TEST:

  1. Centre for Examination: Each candidate shall appear for the selection test at the examination center allotted to him/her as indicated on the Admit Card. No candidate is permitted to appear from any other center. No request for change of center will be entertained. No candidate can appear in the selection test without proper Admit Card. Admit card may be downloaded from the website of NVS, HQ – www.navodaya.gov.in through admission portal.
  2. The candidate will be permitted to appear for the selection test only on the production of either the Aadhar Card of the candidate or Govt. approved residence certificate of the parent uploaded in the application portal.
  3. The photo on the Admit Card shall be matched with the candidate at the time of verification by the invigilator at examination centre.

RESERVATION

  1. At least 75% Seats in a district will be filled by candidates from rural areas.
  2. Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and Divyang candidates as per Govt. Norms.

We are happy to inform that you have been provisionally selected for Certificate Verification phase-II for the admission into 6 -Year Integrated B.Tech Programme of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar for the Academic Year 2024 -25.

The following are the Instructions to the provisionally selected candidates for certificate verification.

All the candidates are requested to read them carefully.

  1. Candidates are instructed to report at Venue of certificate verification i.e., at RGUKT, Basar Campus, Basar Nirmal (District), Telangana as per below schedule by following provisional selection list published on the website.
  2. Candidates are instructed to report on 19.07.2024 at Venue of Certificate Verification i.e., at RGUKT, Basar Campus, Basar Nirmal (District), Telangana. It is the responsibility of the students/parents to make all suitable travel arrangements so as to reach the University by 09.00 AM
  3. Admission shall not be given, if the student fails to attend the certificate verification in person on the above date and time for whatsoever reason. The seat may be allocated to the next candidate based on merit.
  4. Mere attending the certificate verification does not guarantee a seat. The admission will be given only if the candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria and pay the relevant fee after the verification of all original certificates/documents. The selection stands cancelled in case candidate fails to produce the prescribed original certificates at the time of verification or fails to pay the relevant fee.
  5. Documents to be carried:

    1. The candidate is supposed to bring the following documents /certificates in original along with Two Sets of the Xerox copies.
    2. 1. Grade Sheet (Memo) of 10th Class Board Examination.
    3. 2. Transfer Certificate (from Institution last attended)
    4. 3. Study/ Bonafide certificates (from 4th class to 10th Class)
    5. 4. Caste (SC/ST/OBC)/ EWS (EWS issued after 01-04-2024) by the competent authority(Meeseva Only).
    6. 5. Income Certificate/EBC Certificate (latest and issued after 01.04.2024 from Meeseva Only).
    7. 6. Provide six photos of the candidate and two photographs of any three family members (Father, Mother, guardian1 and guardian2) for the parent ID card provided for outings.
    8. 7. A photo copy (Xerox copy) of Aadhar Card.
    9. 8. Candidates claiming admission under Non-local Category have to submit a Residence Certificate as a proof to effect that the candidate have resided in the state for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the state or either of whose parents have resided in the state for a total period of 10 years excluding period of employment outside the state.
    10. 9. The candidates who wish to avail bank loan shall bring the following documents (The loan applications will be available at the bank in the campus)
      a. Additional four sets of copies of the above certificates.
      b. Employee Identity Card of the parent.
      c. Three months salary Certificates of the parent (Latest).
      d. PAN card of Student and Parent.
      e. Ration Card / PAN Card / Voter ID card /Aadhar Card of the Student and Parent.
      f. Bank account statement for last six months.
      g. Six photographs of the candidate and four photographs of the Parent/Guardian.
    11. Fee to be paid:

      The following is the fee structure for the first year for each student who is admitted into 6-Year Integrated B.Tech programme of the University.

      Fee Information:

      1. NOTE-1:
        Students who are eligible for fee reimbursement as per the stipulated Telangana State Government rules need not pay tuition fee of Rs. 36,000/- whose parental annual income is specified below for eligibility of scholarship.
        i. SC and ST welfare students whose annual family income is Rs 2 lakh or below
        ii. BC and EBC and Minority welfare students who belong to rural area their family income should be 1.5 lakh or below.
        iii. BC and EBC and Minority welfare students who belong to urban area their family income should be 2 lakh or below.
        iv. Disable welfare students whose parental income is 1 Lakh or below In case, if the students do not reimburse the tuition fee, they have to pay the tuition fee before the commencement of second semester examination in the academic year in order to permit them to appear in the exam
      2. NOTE-2:
        It has been found for the past few years that the fee reimbursed by the Government is not exactly same as the fee prescribed by the University. An average of Rs. 30,000 is being sanctioned by the Government per year per student. Hence, the students who are eligible for fee reimbursement as per the stipulated State Government rules shall pay the difference amount between tuition fee and the amount of scholarship that is being sanctioned which would be around Rs. 6,000 at the time of admission.
      3. NOTE-3:
        It may be noted that the original certificates, once submitted to the University, will not be given back, in any case, until the completion of the course. Hence, the students are supposed to keep a set of scanned copies / Xerox copies with him/her for future use, before the original certificates are submitted to the University.
      4. NOTE-4:
        All the Candidates who have been selected under Local area as Andhra Pradesh need to pay the total Fee of Rs. 40,700/- for Non-SC/ST Categories and Rs.40,200/- for SC/ST Categories and it will be refunded by RGUKT as and when the scholarship is sanctioned from the respective state.
      5. OTHER INFERMATION:

        1. If any further information, the candidates, provisionally selected for certificate verification may contact over phone on 7416305245, 7416058245 and 7416929245 from 09:00AM to 05:00PM, on all working days.
        2. The candidates selected for admission shall be prepared to go through the intensive learning program at the RGUKT, and will have a fruitful learning time leading to a bright career.

Educational Qualifications:

For all seats in all Government DIETS and Private Un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions:
  1. The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the TG DEECET Committee for appearing at the TG DEECET 2024. However, she/he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
  2. The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing at the TG DEECET 2024. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45%.

Age:

  1. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission.
  2. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed /D.P.S.E. Programme.

Fee:

  1. The fee towards submission of application online and for appearing at the TGDEECET-2024 online is Rs.500/-. Candidates shall pay the fee through the payment Gateway provided on http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in 08.06.2024 to 30.06.2024 and
  2. TGDEECET 2024 website at the submit online application http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in from 08.06.2024 to 30.06.2024.

Rule of reservation:

  1. Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be unreserved as specified in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 as amended from time to time.

Procedure For Applying Online:

  1. The candidates shall first download the 'Information Bulletin' free of cost from the website http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET, 2024.
  2. The candidate after satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for DEECET, 2024 shall pay a fee of Rs.500/- through TSONLINE between 08.06.2024 to 30.06.2024 midnight for submission of application Online. At the DEECET website Centers, the candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e. Name of the candidate, Date of birth, Gender and mobile phone number). On receipt of fee at DEECET, 2024 website the candidate shall be issued a 'payment Reference ID' with which she/he can proceed with submission of application online. Issue of payment Reference ID does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.
  3. The candidates shall follow the procedure of submission of online application as given in the 'Information Bulletin' and also as per the instructions provided online while filling up the online application form. The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size upto 50kb and candidate signature upto 30kb before filling in on-line application.'
  4. Eligibility Criteria for admission:

    1. A.Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
    2. B.The candidates should satisfy the Local / Non Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order,1974 as amended from time to time.
    3. C.Candidates should have secured a rank in TG DEECET- 2024 and should satisfy the educational qualifications as shown at 5 (D) below for allotment of Seats in Government DIETs andCategory ‘A’ and ‘B’ seats in Private Elementary Teacher education Institutions. For obtaining a rank, candidate belonging to “OC” and “BC” Communities shall secure 35% marks in TG DEECET. For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories. That is to say, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Communities should secure 35% of marks for consideration against seats under OC/ NCC / Defense Personnel or their children and spouses / Sports category.
    4. .The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee for appearing at the DEECET. However, she / he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
    5. The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing at the DEECET. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45%.As per G.O.Ms.No 10 Education dated 12.04.2017 the candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible .However in view of the orders Dated:12.04.2019 of the Honorable High Court of Telangana in IA No.1 of 2019 in WP.No.6482/2019 the candidate who have passed Intermediate with vocational course(s) shall be allowed to sit in the DEECET-2024 provisionally , but they cannot claim any equity in their favour. Moreover the result of examination of such candidates shall be subject to the decision of the Honorable High Court in WP.No.6482/2019.
    6. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed/D.P.S.E Programme.

      1. The TGDEECET 2024 shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in the 10 erstwhile districts on the dates to be notified shortly. Candidates may give the preferential order of the centers. However, allotment of centers shall be the discretion of the department and request for change of test centers or sessions is not allowed under any circumstances.
