Eligibility:
1. The candidates should be an Indian citizen.
2. Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/BBM/BBA/B.E/B.Tech.
3. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
4. The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/ B.Tech must have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
5. B.C.A. Candidate must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology.
6. The Candidates who have completed (passed) the qualifying examination on or before July-2026 are eligible.
7. If the candidate has not secured the required percentage of marks in Undergraduate, the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (provided he/she studied the relevant subject at P.G. level).
8. The following categories are eligible to seek admission into B.Ed. (ODL): (i) Trained in-Service teachers in elementary education.
(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode (Regular mode).
9. There shall be reservations for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories as per the rules in vogue.
10.EWS quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant certificates/documents.
11.PH, Sports, NCC and CAP quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant certificates/documents.
12.Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2026. There shall be no upper age limit.
Course Duration:
The B.Ed(ODL) 2026-27 programme will be completed over 2 years, following the academic regulations and practical requirements prescribed by the Dr.BRAOU, Hyderabad.

Syllabus for Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective type (Multiple Choice) questions.
Part-I: General English Comprehension (25 Marks)
Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu (25 Marks)
Part-III: General Mental Ability (50 Marks)

SC/ST/PWD Candidates have to pay Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) through online on or before 24-07-2026.

Entrance Test will be held on 1 st Week of August at selected Examination Centers. The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Entrance Test Centre(s) other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances.
HALLTICKETS DOWNLOAD:
Download the hall tickets from the University website (www.braouonline.in or www.braou.ac.in) from29-07-2026, and affix the latest passport size photograph (which is exactly similar to the one uploaded in the Online application) in the space provided and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College. Without the hall ticket, the candidate is not allowed to appear for the Entrance Test.
