KGBV ADMISSIONS THROUGH TGRJC CET-2026
Admission of students into 93 Young India Institutes of Excellence in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayalu (YIIoE-KGBV) through TGRJC- CET-2026, these Institutions are designated as Young India Institutes of Excellence in 31 Districts except Hyderabad and Medchal Malkajgiri Districts in each District one for Engineering stream (MPC), one for Agriculture and Medical Stream(BPC) and one for Law Entrances (CEC) an objective to provide quality education to the talented girl students. At present, 495 KGBVs are running in Telangana state exclusively for Girls students under Samagra Siksha, School Education Department, Government of Telangana.
In order to provide the students of KGBVs with a fair opportunity to prepare for state level and national level entrance examinations for admission into professional courses in reputed institutions, it has been decided to extend focused and comprehensive coaching to EAPCET, IITJEE, NEET and CLAT by designating three KGBVs in each district (except Hyderabad & Medchal Districts)- one for IIT-JEE, one for NEET and one for CLAT as Young India Institutes of Excellence (YIIoE). A dedicated Project Monitoring Unit has been established in the O/o CDSE, Hyd for effective monitoring and guidance to the YIIOEs.

Date of Examination: 03-05-2026 from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM.
Examination Fee: Rs.200/-
Eligibility:
a) Candidate must be a resident of India and must have studied previous classes in TELANGANA only.
b) Must have passed the 10th Class qualifying examination in first attempt in March, 2026only.Candidates who have passed in earlier years are not eligible and need not to apply.
c) Open Category Candidate must secure a minimum GPA of 6 and BC, SC, ST and minority candidates must secure minimum GPA of 5 in S.S.C or equivalent qualifying examination and GPA of 4 in English for all the candidates.
ONLINE APPLICATION STEPS:
The candidate shall first go through the information bulletin carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for KGBVs in TGRJC-CET 2026.
The candidate after satisfying about the eligibility criteria for the submission of application through online shall pay an amount of Rs.200/- fee through ONLINE or through Credit card (Payment gateway ) for submission of application through Online.
At the ONLINE CENTER or PAYMENT GATEWAY (By Credit Card/Debit Card) the candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e., Name of the candidate, Date of birth and mobile number).
Before submission of the Online application form, the candidate has to fill up the Model Application form (given at annexure)
Candidate who is appearing for SSC Board Examinations in March & April, 2026 is eligible to apply through online application.
Reservations:
a) Allotment of seats shall be done as per Merit and Norms of KGBV
b) 75% seats shall be allotted to SC, ST, OBC & Minority based on the common merit
c) 25% seats shall be allotted to open category.

03-05-2026 from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM
Scheme of Examination:
Question paper shall be issued in Telugu/English (bilingual).
01. MPC: English-Mathematics-Physical Science 2 ½ hours(Time)-150 Marks
02. BPC: English-Bio. Science-Physical Science 2 ½ hours(Time)-150 Marks
03. CEC: English-Social Studies-Mathematics 2 ½ hours 150(Time)-Marks
The test is an objective type with 2½ hrs duration for 150 marks (50 marks for each subject). The candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR sheets.

SYLLABUS
The question papers of TGRJC CET will be based on 10th standard in Telangana state syllabus for subjects and English will be General English.

a)District Head Quarters of 1) Adilabad 2) Warangal 3) Karimnagar 4) Khammam,5) Nizamabad, 6) Nalgonda, 7) Mahaboobnagar 8) Hyderabad 9) Ranga Reddy 10) Sangareddy 11) Siddipet, 12) Medak (Candidate may choose any CENTER to appear for Test)
b) New district examination centers will be allotted based on the number of applications received. Applicants may indicate their priority option for selecting a newly proposed district centre, if they prefer to appear for the examination.
