Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for Admission into Six Year Integrated B.Tech. Program for the academic year 2026-27 for Basar and Mahabubnagar Campuses. Interested candidates can apply for admission online through TS online centre/ Meeseva/ University website www.rgukt.ac.in.
The notification for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program for the Academic Year 2026-27 in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT)-Basar for the constituent institutes at Basar Campus and Mahabubnagar Campus is released. Candidates can submit online applications from 18.03.2026. The last date for receiving online applications is 10.05.2026.

Eligibility for Admission:
Candidates should have passed SSC (10th Class) or any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt, in the Year 2026, recognized by the concerned state Governments or State Government of Telangana.
Candidates whose age is above 18 years as on 01.06.2026, (age relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST categories students and 5 years for students under PH categories) are not eligible to apply.
International students having Indian Citizenship/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders for NRI students only.
Procedure for applying admission into RGUKT:
The process of submitting application comprises of the following steps:
i. Fill the online application form and get the application ID after submitting the details.
ii. Pay the application fee as applicable.
iii. Print the filled in application form.
iv. Only PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants have to post their online filled in printed application
Application Fee:
For the candidates of OC/BC(TS): Rs.500/-
For the candidates of SC/ST(TS):Rs.450/-
For the candidates of other states(other than Telangana) for Global seats: Rs.1500/-
For the candidates of Telangana interested in unfilled Global seats: Rs.1500/-
For the candidates of NRI/Internationa: US $100.00
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Candidates of Telangana State, who applied for the unfilled seats of Global category, are also considered under the General category of admission.
i. The application fee should be paid in cash at TS Online service center, for which the service center will issue a receipt.
ii. An additional amount of Rs. 25.00 per application should be paid as a service charge to the TS Online Centre.
iii. If any candidate submits his/her application for more than once, in such case, the latest application is considered for the selection process.
iv. Immediately after submitting the application through online, the PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants should send the print-out of online application duly signed by the candidate along with the relevant certificates to the following address by Speed Post/Registered Post to reach on or before 20-05-2026.

Rule of Reservation:
The admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be filled as per G.O.Ms.No.15 dated 27.02.2025 issued by Telangana Govt. (see Annexure I).
The rules of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and unreserved categories, as per Government of Telangana State.
SC- 15% (SC-I-1%, SC-II- 9%, SC-III-5%), SC Reservation will be applicable as per Act 15 of 2025 issued by the Government of Telangana dated 14.04.2025
BC-A- 7%, BC-B- 10%, BC-C- 1%, BC-D- 7%, BC-E-4%.
ST- 10% Reservation: ST Reservation will be applicable as per G.O.Ms.No.33 issued by the Government of Telangana.
EWS- 10% Reservation: EWS Reservation will be applicable as per G.O.Ms.No.244 issued by the Government of Telangana (Annexure-IX).
Physically Challenged (PH) - 5% (As per the G.O.Ms.No.2, Dated 28-01-2025), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) - 2%, NCC - 1% and Sports - 0.5%
A horizontal reservation of 33% (1/3) of seats in favor of girl candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/EWS/Special categories) shall be ensured, wherever girl candidates are available.
In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are acceptable. For Sports Form-I, II, III and IV duly certified / attested by the concerned State Sports Associations recognized by the Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATG). CAP categories, certificates issued by the competent authority are considered. The afore mentioned are applicable at the State-level
Selection Method:
Admissions will be based on merit in the Total Marks and Marks obtained in each subject in 10th class (SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2026). by following the statutory reservations of the State and the guidelines issued by RGUKT from time to time. A deprivation score of 4 marks (4 % of maximum marks in the concerned subject) shall be added to each subject in the 10th class marks of those applicants who studied in non- residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools, with an objective of providing weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process.
