TG SET-2026 HALLTICKETS
On behalf of the Telangana State, Osmania University will conduct the TG-SET, 2026 examination for Eligibility as Assistant Professor / Lecturer in the month of October, 2026. The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.Syllabus and Question Paper for TG-SET As per the UGC guidelines the CSIR/UGC-NET syllabus has been adopted for the conduct of TG-SET-2026 for all the 29 subjects for which accreditation is given by UGC.
The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in 3 Hours of duration in one session.
Paper-I: 50 Questions 100 Marks
shall consist of 50 Objective Type compulsory questions each carrying 2 Marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching / research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-II: 100 Questions 200 Marks
shall consist of 100 Objective Type compulsory questions covering entire syllabi and each carrying 2 Marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.All the questions of Paper-II will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus.
